Dragonfly Tours operate solely in Japan, in an all-encompassing, friendly service suitable for everyone.  We want to keep the balance between leading the group while also giving freedom to explore where appropriate.  Without removing any fun from the adventure, we are here to help, support and guide but never to dictate.  Striving to be flexible, our aim is to get you in the right place at the right time, giving you the freedom to enjoy and explore without the worries of language barriers, hotel bookings and timetables.

One way we accomplish this is by keeping our standard tours sizes to a maximum of eight. We utilize two guides where necessary, altering itineraries to suit you and making the most of seasonal cuisine, weather and festivals.  We encourage our guests to head out on their own adventures and provide a mobile phone so if you get too lost, you are only a phone call away from finding your way back.

Needless to say, everyone involved in Dragonfly is dedicated to its cause.  Our small but motivated team, combining British and local Japanese guides, will show Japan in its true light.  Of course the well known picture postcard sights are included, but there is so much more than that and we strive to show you as much of it as we can.  You’ll see the beautiful, the bizarre, the famous and the little-known without the stress and anxiety of missing out on something.

Whether its doing winter sports, viewing cherry blossoms, maiko dancing, dressing up as a samurai, rafting, canyoning or visiting sake breweries, we are here for you.
